Tangelo Margarita

Grapefruit + Tangerine = Tangelo. Tangelos = amazing flavor. My favorite variety, the Minneola Tangelo, is just coming into season and is perfect for juicing. Whether you make a mocktail or a cocktail this Tangelo Margarita will not disappoint.

Serves 1

Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz fresh tangelo juice*
2/3 oz fresh lime juice
club soda
1 oz tequila
1/2 oz triple sec

Rim Glue Ingredients:
Fresh tangelo juice

Rim Salt Ingredients:
1 tablespoon kosher salt
2 tablespoons granulated white sugar
1 tablespoon tangelo zest


Directions:

1.   In a small ramekin, using a fork, mix all of the Rim Salt ingredients together.

2.  In a second small ramekin fill with extra fresh tangelo juice.

3. Dip glass in Rim Glue and then rim with Rim Salt.

4. Add tangelo juice, lime juice, and club soda. If you are making a cocktail add the tequila and triple sec here. Stir to combine.

5. Top with ice.

6. Stir and serve.
