Spiced Apple Kombucha Mule

Basic-ness is at an all time high with this Spiced Apple Kombucha Mule. This is my spin on a mule and it definitely screams “Autumn is here”. The Spiced Apple Kombucha Mule is easy to make and your guests will definitely ask for seconds so make sure you have enough kombucha.

Serves 1

Ingredients:
2 1/4 oz bourbon
3/4 oz rosemary brown sugar simple syrup
spiced apple kombucha

Rosemary Brown Sugar Simple Syrup*:
1 cup water
1 cup brown sugar
1 spring of rosemary, leaves only

Directions:

1.    In a small sauce pan add water and brown sugar and bring to a boil. Once boiling remove from heat and stir in rosemary. Let steep for approximately 15 minutes; all sugar should be dissolved.

2.    Add bourbon and rosemary brown sugar simple syrup to glass and stir.

3.    Add ice and top with spiced Apple kombucha. Garnish if desired.

Pro Tip:

*Rosemary Brown Sugar Simple Syrup will keep for approximately two weeks in your refrigerator. Make a batch and store it in an airtight container to have it at the ready. If you are not a fan of rosemary, no stress, just leave it out; this drink will be just as yummy.
