Lox Bagel with Lemon Herby Schmear

Lox Bagel with Lemon Herby Schmear is here to take your morning bagel to the next level. It is no secret that I love lox any place, any time. This Lemon Herby Schmear is packed with fresh herbs to make every bite amazing.

Serves 4

Ingredients:
4 everything bagels, halved and toasted
1/2 medium red onion, julineed
2 tablespoons capers
16 oz smoked salmon

Lemon Herby Schmear:
8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
1 1/2 tablespoon fresh chives, minced
1 tablespoon fresh dill, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 tablespoon lemon zest

Directions:

1. In a stand mixer bowl whip cream cheese 2-3 minutes on high.

2. Add chives, dill, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Whip for an additional 2-3 minutes, until fully combined.

3. Make your bagel sandwich with 2 oz of Lemon Herby Schmear, 4 oz of salmon, red onion and capers.

Pro Tip: There are many types of smoked salmon, making it a bit overwhelming as a deli-goer when there are so many options and no clear difference between them all.
