Angel Food Cake with Market Berries & Chantilly Cream

If you are looking for a quick, go-to dessert look no further than this Angel Food Cake with fresh berries and Chantilly Cream. Angel Food Cake, if not readily available at your local bakery or market, is easy to whip up from a box or scratch (or a box). I baked a box Angel Food Cake and topped it with homemade Chantilly Cream, sliced strawberries, whole blackberries, and springs of mint. 

 

Ingredients:

Chantilly Cream
3 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
3-5 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla

Berries: 

16 oz of fresh berries, if using strawberries quarter

Mint Sprigs (optional)

Directions:

In your chilled stainless steel mixing bowl (I place the bowl in the freezer for at least 15 minutes) pour heavy whipping cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla. Whip with mixer until stiff peaks form. Place the cake on your serving platter or cake stand and layer with Chantilly Cream, fresh berries, and sprigs of mint.
